We loved our recent lunch at Kung Pow on NW 21st, but would recommend that folks visit in the evenings. The menu is more extensive then.
We had a great time at the Al Stewart concert at the Aladdin Theater in SE Portland. If you get a chance to see Stewart with The Empty Pockets and special guest Marc Macisso, then don’t pass it up.

We’ve been splitting our time between being outside in this beautiful Portland weather and watching some really excellent basketball. We recently visited Short Round
Churchgate Station on SE Division in Portland serves up authentic Indian cuisine with a fixed menu, family style dining experience. We especially enjoyed the hyderbadi chicken biryani or family style chicken and rice.
On a recent visit to Pure Spice on SE Division in Portland Morgan thought that the stewed squid special wasn’t really… special. And some of our other former favorite dishes were just in the OK category. We’ll be going back to check them out to see if this was just an off day.
We enjoyed our afternoon/evening at Loyal Legion watching the NCAA Tournament. There were a few food misfires, but the beer was excellent as always.
Here is some clarification about the hours for Matt’s BBQ Tacos food truck on SE Hawthorne… We are open Thursday through Sunday, 8am-3pm. Hoping to be open more days/hours soon!
